Functional and Lifestyle Medicine
This program is ideal for those individuals who would like to get to the root cause of:
- Digestive Disorders
- Joint Pain
- Autoimmune Diseases
- Hormonal Imbalances
- Adrenal Issues
The Just Wellness Essentials Program will help you to identify blind spots that are preventing you from reaching your full health potential.
There are 2 main components of our Functional and Lifestyle Medicine programs.
Functional medicine is a patient centered approach to health care, it focuses on the root cause of dis-ease and helps to identify other underlying factors that may be affecting one's health and well-being.
As a functional medicine provider we run tests that are different from what you typically would run because they help to evaluate the root cause of your health challenges instead of diagnosing. We want to look at things differently, these labs are designed to evaluate your health on a cellular level. They are done through urine, stool, saliva and blood.
The goal of the lifestyle component of the program is to teach the individual tools to incorporate into their daily lives. These tools will help to make significant changes that will promote health and wellness and to help prevent disease and illness. Each day the choices we make either enhance one's health or lead to dis-ease. Unhealthy choices leading to dis-ease over time can lead to dysfunction. When you remove these behaviors and replace them with those that promote health and wellness, dysfunction/dis-ease can then be corrected.
